Over time, grease vapors are carried into the conduit that houses the fire suppression system's detection cable. This grease vapor will congeal and harden, eventually rendering the cable immovable. If the cable can't move, then the suppression system cannot function.

The Grease Diamond is designed to work on most systems currently in use today. Installation is simple as it simply threads on to the end of the conduit connectors - plus they can be installed without deactivating the system.
